Vision and Mission
The Lord Jesus speaking, said: I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Most times, when God is set to do a thing, He seeks out human instruments with whom to accomplish His purposes. From Noah to Abraham; from Moses to David; and, from Mary to the Apostle Paul, this view holds true. In building His church, He constantly looks out for people who He fills with His Spirit: committed and faithful (wo)men to be recruited into the five-fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13). On earth, they constitute God’s army; soldiers of Christ. These are the rod of divine strength that is sent out of Zion to enforce divine rulership in the midst of the enemies of Heaven’s agenda (Psalm 110:1-2).
It is against this backdrop as captured above that we received the mandate that birthed Royal Harvest Christian Ministry (RHCM), which is: to checkmate the buildup of the kingdom of darkness and the onslaught of the host of hell; to frustrate the counsels of the enemy and neutralise his works.
To execute this mandate, we are specifically commissioned to raise an army of power depositories: soldiers of Christ across the globe who will not love their lives unto death in their quest to fulfill god’s purpose for their lives; soldiers, to whom life is worth living simply because they are living it to execute divine agenda. these soldiers shall be beacons of God’s love, power and glory.
Our mission therefore is to take all necessary steps to give expression to the vision by always seeking to express the reality of God through the manifestations of His power and mysteries. That is why our mission statement reads thus: “We continuously receive grace to take heed to the Ministry by giving ourselves wholly to its fulfillment in raising a purpose-powered Kingdom Army by empowering and adding value to lives through the manifestation of the realities of God”. Two of such steps come to mind. The first is the establishment of the church arm of the Ministry – Royal Harvest Assembly (RHA).
The second is through the School of Ministry and Leadership (SOMLEAD) and Mount Sion War College (MOSWAC) which are driven by the thought of God contained in Mark 3:13-15 & 2Timothy 2:2, and 2Corinthians 10: 3-6 & Ephesians 6:10-18 respectively aimed at Spiritual Soldiering.
RHA functions to enhance the achievement of the vision in a number of ways. Firstly, it permits for continuous and on-going coordination of efforts directed at executing the Commission and bringing it into physical manifestation. This is so because it allows us to consistently make platforms available that seek out sinners and unbelievers, pluck them away from the captivity of Satan, and grow them into forceful Kingdom Stakeholders who are committed to the things of the spirit and who take responsibility to serve the purposes of God. Two examples readily come to mind here: the Attack Squad which focuses on Soul Winning and raising Soul Winners, and the E-Church Initiative which allows us to take the messages of revival (which aims at encouraging believers to live for divine purposes) to the uttermost part of the Earth via the internet.
In a nutshell, it involves the following:
- Systematic and co-ordinated mobilisation of efforts and resources for soul winning.
- Discipling and mentoring meant to transform lives, making them
- passionate about God and about the things of the Kingdom;
- to assume the stature of the person of Christ; and,
- relevant in God’s army as stewards of the mysteries of God.
- Deployment of trained hands for service in the Kingdom and for Ministry work.
Secondly, RHA will serve as the engine room for the mobilization of human, spiritual and financial resources for the missionary thrust of the ministry outside the shores of this country. Our Commission has a Missions dimension to it (it says to “… raise soldiers of Christ across the globe”). This is where the E-Church Initiative becomes relevant. This phase will eventually involve crusades, church planting and sending of missionaries to African countries and other nations of the world with the mandate to raise soldiers of Christ.
On the whole, we are committed to connecting people to their God ordained purpose and are driven with a passion to empower lives and express the mysteries of the Kingdom. This is why in RHA, our motto reads: Empowering Lives, Manifesting Divine Realities.
