We’re Going to Ghana: A Month-Long Mission to Transform 300+ Lives
Royal Harvest Ministries is heading to Ghana, West Africa for a month-long mission. Join us as we serve children, elderly, and sick communities through three transformational events.
On November 19th, my husband and I will board a plane to Ghana, West Africa. We’ll be gone for a month. And if everything goes according to plan, we’ll return having impacted 325 lives.
But we can’t do it alone.
The Mission
For the past six months, we’ve been praying, planning, and preparing for what we believe will be one of the most significant missions Royal Harvest Ministries has ever undertaken.
Here’s the plan:
While in Ghana we will spend a few weeks building partnerships with local churches, meeting the families we’ll serve, and preparing for three major outreach events.
Between December 10-31: We’ll host three transformational events serving over 300 individuals across three vulnerable populations.
The Three Events
- Children’s Joy & Hope Celebration
We’ll serve approximately 150 children with school supplies, nutritious meals, hygiene kits, toys, books, and most importantly—hope. Many of these children walk miles to school with empty stomachs and no supplies. They dream of education but lack the basic tools to pursue it.
Budget: $1,500
- Elderly Honor & Care Gathering
We’ll honor at least 75 elderly individuals with food packages, medical care, hygiene kits, and dignity. Many are grandparents raising orphaned grandchildren on no income. They’ve spent their lives serving others—now it’s time to serve them.
Budget: $1,000
- Healing & Comfort Outreach
We’ll provide medical care, medications, nutritious food, and prayer for sick individuals who have no access to basic healthcare. We’ll partner with local doctors and nurses to bring healing and hope.
Budget: $1,500
Total Mission Budget: $4,000
Why Ghana?
People keep asking us: “Why Ghana?”
The answer is simple: God opened the door.
Over the past year, we’ve developed relationships with three incredible churches in Ghana. These aren’t just partners—they’re brothers and sisters in Christ who know their communities, understand the needs, and are committed to long-term impact.
This isn’t charity tourism. This is kingdom work.
We’re not flying in for a day, taking photos, and leaving. We’re spending weeks building relationships, understanding needs, and creating sustainable partnerships that will continue long after we return home.
What Makes This Mission Different
- Local Partnership
We’re working alongside Ghanaian churches who have been serving their communities for decades. They know the families. They speak the language. They understand the culture. We’re not imposing—we’re partnering.
- Sustainable Impact
Every event is designed with sustainability in mind. We’re not just giving handouts—we’re connecting families with local churches for ongoing support. We’re training local volunteers. We’re creating systems that will continue after we leave.
- 100% Transparency
Every dollar you donate goes directly to the field. We’ll document everything—purchases, distributions, impact stories—and provide a complete financial report when we return.
- Real-Time Updates
You’ll be with us every step of the way. Starting November 19th, we’ll post daily updates from Ghana. You’ll see the families we’re serving, the supplies we’re purchasing, and the impact your generosity is creating in real-time.
How You Can Help
